GIANO 

GIANO is the renovation and refurbishment of a (80m2) 60s apartment in Rome. It is the home of a journalist.
The domestic landscape is based on a clear distinction between night and day. The space is articulated by a large frame with two doors splitting the house in two halves; facing south-east: a hallway, two bedrooms, a bathroom; facing south-west: a living room with an open kitchen and a counter, two balconies. Pale oak wood flooring runs throughout the house. The kitchen is a green and dark granite volume. Few pieces of furniture define the rooms. A series of wall cabinets hides wardrobes, niches, surprises.
